Foxed

The shrieks of mating Red Foxes alerted me to their presence at around 3am this morning.

On looking out into the moonlit darkness we could see that our front garden was the focus of activity. They seemed to become aware of curtains twitching and moved a little way down the road. One sat nonchalantly on the pavement under the light of a streetlamp. The other crossed the road to the cover of a parked car.

Red Fox

A close encounter with a Fox last night. As I walked to the local Supermarket a Red Fox was casually investigating snails or maybe other scents on the ground in front of my path. I stood within 20 ft of the animal as it calmly went about its business. Eventually after a couple of minutes it wandered into the shadows of a public car park shrubbery area
